MEET
Vanessa
I was born and raised in Ontario, but I love the ocean so much that I could not surpass moving to BC when I got the chance. I love going swimming and being outside, and I also love spending couch time with friends and doing crafts (a DIY queen, if you will).
MORE ABOUT ME
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor (#10004844) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and a Registered Psychotherapist (#009259) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Masters of Arts degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University in Ottawa, ON. Prior to being in private practice, I worked at a non-profit group home for DeafBlind individuals and also as a private nanny.

Intersectionality is important to me. I acknowledge that my intersections grant me incredible privilege. I am committed to learning about systemic oppression and engaging in anti-colonial, anti-capitalist and intersectional feminist work. I am a white, cis, able-bodied, post-graduate educated woman. I have Greek and Portuguese ethnicity, and (sadly) don't speak either language. My pronouns are she/her.
